Vestri Bike: Bike Rental System for a Greener Tomorrow

Taking inspiration from the modern city environment, Charlwood Design (Victoria-based Australian design firm) conceives the Vestri bike rental system that allots wind turbines a respectable position within an entirely green setup. Aside from generating their own power, the stations lock the bikes and wirelessly communicate to a central command centre about vacant slots. The central computer and bike lighting also get the much-needed succor from the wind power.
